Pat McCrory: It’s time to cut federal dependence

In an interview on “UnSpun,” a PBS program in Charlotte, North Carolina, former Gov. Pat McCrory states why states and localities should begin weaning themselves off federal funding. McCrory points to a simple reason: the federal government is deeply in debt. Simple as it is, it is a point too few lawmakers acknowledge when they are lining up for the “free money.”
